Pascal Plisson

Director, author, screenplay writer and director of photography, Pascal Plisson travels constantly all around the world and films with an intelligent mix of distance and privacy the reality of the people he meets. In love with big landscapes, he travels through Siberia and Australia where he creates documentaries about the le life of men who are still living with the heart of nature. He also travels to eastern Africa to shoot documentaries about animal. In collaboration with Yann Arthus-Bertrand for the series « vu du ciel » (sky view), he establishes a balance between adventures, dreams, poetry and realism. His film « sur le chemin de l’école » (on the way to school) counts over 1,5million tickets sold in France, and he won the César for the best documentary in 2014. His social engagement in associative environments in favour for education becomes the reflection of his work, such as in « Le Grand Jour » (the big day) and for sure in his future films.
